Characteristics:

– Upward trend. Even if temporary trend.
– Black candle completely engulfs the body of white candle.
– Indication of reversal.

Notes:

– Large body engulfs small body.
– Large volume on the engulfing day further indicates a reversal.
– Uptrend is slowing down. No buyers, can dramatically increase the chances of a strong downtrend.
