Characteristics:

– Upward trend.
– The first and second candlesticks will have long white bodies and have similar length.
– The third candlestick will “gap” up slightly or will open near the close of the second candlestick.

Notes:

– This pattern shows that the uptrend is losing its steam and the bulls are “deliberating”,
which is where the name comes form.
