Very interesting audio book, which starts with a great mystery. A huge mansion which costs $30,000 a month to maintain and operate, but hasn’t been visited in decades, and the caretaker for over 25 years has never even met the owner. How could this be? Who has that much money and why did they never sell it.
The mystery deepens when it is discovered that there are more mansions that the same person owns, and are also empty. Fascinating read that goes all the way back to one of the greatest fortunes ever made with someone that has been lost to history. I’m having a lot of fun with this one.
