SUMMARY:
Every child has an egg in their heart, unseen at first, an egg with the would-be self of their dreams. Hinamori Amu, part of a group called the Guardians, protect those eggs from becoming x-eggs, eggs filled with resentment and resignation that gives children troubles. Amu’s job is to capture and restore x-eggs to their orginal form. She does this with the help of her three Shugo Chara (guardian characters or her would be selves), Ran, Miki and Su. Thanks to them she can change her character and abilities, and so fight against the mysterious organization Easter which aim is to find a special egg called Embryo using the x-eggs.

I reccomend to you Full Moon wo Sagashite. The series is about Mitsuki Kouyama, a 12-year-old girl that has throat cancer. She promised her best friend, who she hasn’t seen in 2 years, that she would become a singer. One day, 2 Shinigami, or gods of death, show up and tell her that she has one year left to live. With the help of the Shinigami, she transforms into Full Moon, a 16 year old girl with no cancer, so she can become a singer.
As you can tell from the heavy death theme, this show has sad bits. But it is very funny, and I’d recomend it to you.
Another show is Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch, which is sort of like a retelling of the fairytale ‘The Little Mermaid’. Luchia, a mermaid princess, once saved a young human boy from a shipwreck. She gave him her magical pearl, and with it, her voice. Fast forward about 6 years. They’re both about 13 now, and she has to go onto dry land (with legs) to get her pearl back. She soon gets it back, but trouble arises in the mermaid world.
